Launcher added to panel don't work

Hello,
I have this strange problem with gnome 2.2 in my debian/unstable linux
box: launcher that I have added to the panel on the top of of the screen
don't work, instead they completely block the gnome session, and I have
to use ctrl+alt+del to kill it; the only launcher that works is the
terminal one, that I have not added, but was already present. I have
added them by right-clicking on the panel, then "Add to Panel" ->
"Launcher from menu" and then for example Galeon. I have noticed that it
happens only for one user in my linux box, another one that I have
created to make a test has not this problem. So I tried to delete the
.gnome, .gnome-desktop, .gnome2, .gnome_private and .gnome2_private of
that user, but the problem is still present. From .xsession_errors I can
read:
