Hmm... this is odd.
Start-Here -> Application -> Desktop Pref.
is the same as
Start-Here -> Desktop Pref.
Only difference is the  Desktop Pref. icon is
different looking.
However, in both I only see the default keyboard
shortcuts as being changable.  I don't see a way to
add new ones (i.e., tie into a launcher/program).
Any clues?  Sorry for driving this one to the ground. 
I really want to make Gnome work for me.  I like
IceWM, but there's something about Gnome's consistency
& beauty.

Damn... not there yet.  I'll look at the code, but I'm
just starting C.
