hi there,
my idea of the perfect desktop would have the transparent panel that
gnome offers, with a height of about 15-20 pixels... but with a CPU and
network monitor, a luminous green transparent clock and date, and semi
transparent desktop browser (and maybe task list). i can achieve most of
this in gnome 1.4... except the transparent desktop browser, task list
and clock... does anyone know if these things will be implemented into
gnome 2, or (pretty please) the final release of gnome 1.4?
also, does anyone know how (under saw fish) i can save the panel
_exactly_ the way i set it... every time i reload gnome, the applets are
separated by a few pixels, even though i set the separation to zero
pixels in gnome-control centre
cheers,
Sam
