I just noticed a change to the context menu for launchers between gnome 1.4 and gnome2: Before you had a "panel" sub-menu which allowed you to add more things to the panel even when there was no room to click directly on the panel. Now right clicking on a launcher just gives you options for that launcher. Particularly with the "elastic" task switcher, it's easy to get into a situation where you can't reach the panel directly but where there's room for more launchers. Was this an intentional "cleanup" change, or did it just get overlooked? --Ben
