im with tony field on this one... the control centre appears to have a
bajaliion options... but the kde one ahs all the ones you will ever
need, and gnoem seems to lack most of them, take changing the default
colours for example... or being able to use different backgrounds for
different desktops... its just overkill sometimes without the finishing
touches on the parts everyone needs...

and has anyone ever noticed in the bottom left of the screen, that the
panel always seems to be 2 or 3 pixels longer than the rest of the
desktop?

and just while i'm on this rant... gfloppy could do with an overhaul
too, (im having a bad day).
