Starting Gnome2

Hello all,

        I was hoping somebody can help me. I have just upgraded to
Gnome2 from Gnome. After upgrading I logged onto gnome2 without any
problems. Now however Gnome2 will only start under root. So if I log in
undoer a user accound beside root only X starts. I am running red hat
7.3 with the latest kernel.

Any help is appreciated.
