cdplayer_applet conflicts with xine/mplayer/vlan/...

Hello,

When playing a DVD with any of the above mentioned programs, and at
the same time have the cdplayer_applet running in gnome, access to the
CD/DVD-rom is interfered, see below. I don't know if the problem is
with the DVD applications or cdplayer_applet, but my guess is the
latter.  Maybe this sholud be reported as a bug, please tell me if so.
