Menu and themes

Hello!

I am quite new to themes and theme making, so please forgive :-)

It seems that the Gnome menu uses the "button" definitions for themes to
make the background and selection in menus... That is not all that good
in themes that uses bitmaps for buttons... Is this do-able in themes or
is it something to be fixed...
