help with installation of dtd

hello everybody
i am trying to install gnome2 on a lfs (linux from scratch) system.
i am having trouble installing the dtd, so the configure script from
scrollkeeper can run through.
is there some trick to it? either in the installation process of the dtd
or in scrollkeeper?
