gnome-session dumps core (GNU/Linux Redhat/i386 7.1)

Hello, I have the following problem with gnome:

- when I startx, often (but not always) gnome-session dumps core;
- sometimes rebooting the computer solves the problem (why?);
- X works fine and KDE works fine.

The details are shown below.

As you understand, this problem is very annoying.
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

My GNU/Linux distribution is RedHat 7.1.

www.ximian.org.
