Re: Some newbie advice needed



What version of Mandrake are you running? Yes you can install Red-Carpet
without Ximian-Gnome, but it chokes several time while trying to load
under Mandrake 8.1. I think that is because there no setup from Ximian
for Mandrake 8.1 yet.
