Can someone help me avoid the paing of compiling/installing gnucash?
Is there an RPM version of this that will work with Ximian Gnome and
SuSE 7.1?
Failing that can someone tell me why the ./configure for gnucash is
failing at this point...
"configure:6118: checking for glade_init in -lglade
configure:6137: gcc -o conftest -g -O2 -Wall -Wunused -Wall -Wno-unused -Werror-implicit-function-declaration conftest.c -lglade -rdynamic -L/opt/gnome/lib -L/usr/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lglade-gnome -lglade -lxml -lz -lgnomeui -lart_lgpl -lgdk_imlib -lSM -lICE -lgtk -lgdk -lgmodule -ldl -lXi -lXext -lX11 -lgnome -lgnomesupport -lesd -laudiofile -lm -ldb1 -lglib -lm 1>&5
/usr/i486-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -laudiofile
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
configure: failed program was:
#line 6126 "configure"
#include "confdefs.h"
/* Override any gcc2 internal prototype to avoid an error. */
/* We use char because int might match the return type of a gcc2
builtin and then its argument prototype would still apply. */
char glade_init();
int main() {
glade_init()
; return 0; }"
TIA,
Jim
