Hi,
I recently installed Ximian Gnome, and now having some problems
with the sawfish WM. I use the old GNOME style within Ximian.
1. It is no more possible to raise a window by clicking
into the WM-Sawfish frame; the window is raised only
when moving it a little bit.
2. When configuring the Sawfish WM appearance by the gnome control center
(Sawfish window manager -> Appearance), the first time the appearance
can be configured, but when doing it for a second time, then the
control center loops and must be killed.
3. Running "Run Configuration Tool for Sawfish" (initiated by the
GNOME control center), and editing there Sawfish->Appearance->RedMonk Theme,
so that the Windows-2000 color map is selected, then the frame color is
changed as desired, but when logging out from GNOME ans starting
GNOME again, then Windows-2000 is still selected, but the frame color is
reset to green (greenland).
An additional question: Is there a Ximian conversion tool which converts my old GNOME
desktop settings into the new GNOME style?
Regards
Joachim Backes
