Hi all,
I just installed gnome-1.4 on a SuSE7.1, compiled from tarballs following the advises om www.karubik.de/gig. All worked fine. But in the .X.err file I still get a lot of messages:
Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkcolor.c: line 1008 (gdk_colormap_alloc_colors): assertion `colormap != NULL' faiGdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkcolor.c: line 175 (gdk_colormap_ref): assertion `cmap != NULL' failed.
Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkcolor.c: line 521 (gdk_color_black): assertion `colormap != NULL' failed.
Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkcolor.c: line 498 (gdk_color_white): assertion `colormap != NULL' failed.
led.
Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkdraw.c: line 380 (gdk_draw_pixmap): assertion `src != NULL' failed.

All fallbacks failed.
Any hints to reduce/suppress these messages?
Thanks.
Klaus
