Hi all,
I have SUSE7.1 running and compiled the whole gnome.beta
package after removing all SUSE created gnome.
Gnome runs but there are some problems.
Adding a laucher to panel as gnome-terminal or xterm works,
but after restarting gnome they are lost.
Lauching the background-properties-capplet with gnomecc
never works, but if I first launch gnomcc and then
background-properties-capplet via comand line the capplet
works,
Sound system doesn't seem to work.
At startup gnome gives some warnings like that:
SESSION_MANAGER=local/buero1:/tmp/.ICE-unix/756
SetKbdSettings - type: 2 rate: 30 delay: 500 snumlk: 0
SetKbdSettings - Succeeded

waiting for X server to shut down
Has anyone an idea if this is typical at this state
or what I did wrong during installation ?
