AFAIK, libxml 2.x and 1.x was in conflict, but since libxml 2.x is named
libxml2, it's OK.
You should first install libxml 1.8.? (to replace old libxml 2) and then libxml2
; you may have to get new releases of apps using libxml2, but you'll be OK for
future.
