problem compiling gnome-lib-1.2.8

Hi,

I am trying to compile gnome for Solaris 7 with gcc version 2.7.2.3
I get the following problem compiling gnome-login-support.c
from gnome-lib-1.2.8/zvt..

 In file included from gnome-login-support.c:2:
/usr/include/sys/stropts.h:332: parse error before `t_uscalar_t'
/usr/include/sys/stropts.h:332: warning: no semicolon at end of struct or
union
/usr/include/sys/stropts.h:351: parse error before `t_uscalar_t'
/usr/include/sys/stropts.h:351: warning: no semicolon at end of struct or
union
/usr/include/sys/stropts.h:354: parse error before `}'

It compiles with Sun CC. It seems that gcc that I am using does not
compile any source file which includes sys/stropts.h

Is there any workaround for this ?
