As far as i can remember there was a .spec file in the gdk-pixbuf tar.gz
(or at least a spec.in file..) So.. let's build yourself your own rpm
package.

if a spec file is present then "rpm --tb gdk-pixbuf-0.10.0.tar.gz" will
build 2 i386.rpm (gdk-pixbuf & devel)
if a spec.in file is present then tar zxvf the archive, ./configure will
build the spec file from spec.in file. Copy the tar.gz in
/usr/src/redhat/SOURCES and rpm -ba will build .src.rpm and .i386.rpm
packages (-bb if you just want i386)

for the rest.. "man rpm"
