It seems to me that these symbols are defined in /lib/ldXXX.so or
/lib/libc*.so.
Maybe you have a difference in version between your X version and
your system version.
verify with
cd /lib
nm ld* | grep fxstat
or
nm libc* | grep fxstat

You must get lines without U
see man nm
