Hi,
Am running Mandrake 7.2 for x86 together with the
latest HelixCode RPMs, and SawMill wm.
In my drop-down menus from the bar at screen top,
many entries have no icon displayed. I looked at
the corresponding *.desktop files in /usr/share/
gnome/apps/, and noticed that the Icon= line in
each file refers to an icon file without path.
And if that icon file resides in /usr/share/pixmaps/,
it's displayed; else blank.
To fix, I had to add full path to each Icon= line
in each *.desktop.
That's tedious! So, is there a better way?
In other words, is there a way I can specify
an "icon search path"? An environment var
or something?
Please reply directly since I'm not on gnome-list
thanks
ha`m
