ive gotten orbit to compile on solaris 8 with /usr/ccs/bin/make and forte
developer 6 update 1. i have no special include files, just the linker flags:
-L/opt/libs/gen-libs/lib -lglib -R/opt/libs/gen-libs/lib, which is where
glib is.
do you have access to sun's cc? and are your versions of gcc (2.95.2)
gmake (3.79.1) and flex (2.5.4) up to date?

Hello. I am trying to get Gnome working on Solaris. It has been ok up until
compiling the Orbit code. I am using the gnu make, gcc, flex. My path is

I get this error when trying to do a make:

I have seen this error on other posts around the net, but no
resolution. Anyone
heard of this?
I am using Solaris 2.6 with latest patchset from sunsolv.
Thanks everyone!
