Main Menu

I have an unusual question.  I loaded Xaimain on my SuSe 7.1 distro.  I had to
first NOT load any of the SUSe gnome stuff, but I'm not happy with the way the
menus are working.  How can I edit the main gnome menu and where is that
information stored?  I don't even have an applets sub menu in the main menu,
but I have a xiamain and a gnome <program> entry.
