Oops, should have checked the archives first. Someone with a similar
problem was advised to upgrade to GConf 1.0.7 (thread: "NIS / gconf
/Nautilus").
I'd like to try that ... which package contains gconf? Can't find any
rpms by that name on my system ... where should I go to upgrade? Thanks!
