Woops, correction to cardinal sin of not enough info; I'm running
Solaris 8 x86 build 4/01, latest patch cluster as of a week ago, Sun's
XFree86 Video port for my Savage/IX video driver, on an IBM ThinkPad T20
with a 3C589 PCMCIA NIC.
