Hello,

I was looking at my memory usage and noticed that the cache takes up 119 megs of RAM from my 256 total.

Is this really necessary? Also, what can I "turn off" that isn't really necesary for a basic workstation/SAMBA config to save memory as well? Is there a good memory manager or similar utility available in Linux to handle this?
