I have similar behavior. Unmached only updates when I click on it (which
is how all Vfolders behaved many moons ago). Given how much I rely on
vfolders, I have missed Unmached mail for sevaral days at a time because
of this.
I didn't find this bug in ximian's bugzilla so I added one.
