Re: gdm auto login. How do I turn it off?

I did the 'update-rc.d -f gdm remove', it took care of the auto-logon, 
unfortunately, know I get "Authentication Failed!" when I try to login 
with my normal user. The password is most definitely correct, anyone 
have any ideas?
