Actually I do, freetype-2.0.2.  I configured Nautilus like this:

./configure --prefix=/home/xadm/X11R6
--includedir=/home/xadm/X11R6/include
--with-freetype2-libraries=/home/xadm/X11R6/lib
--with-freetype2-includes=/home/xadm/X11R6/include/freetype2
--enable-eazel-services

I had freetype 1 built and installed for Gnome1.2, I then built freetype
version 2 for Gnome1.4.

Did something need to be manually removed/moved?
