Error in compiling

Hi, Im new in gnome, I used to use kde, and mooved to gnome cause I think
it goes better and look better too, but when I try to configure a program
like gnome-telnet (same error happend in gnome-gftp and gnozip) Well here
the error, if anyone can help me to fix it, lemme know

checking for working makeinfo... missing
checking for gnome-config... no
checking for gnomeConf.sh file in /usr/local/lib... not found
configure: error: Could not find the gnomeConf.sh file that is generated by
gnome-libs install
