Re: gnome-libs-1.2.7 problem

Check config.log. I have the C++ extensions compiled into
my BerkeleyDB, and it always fails the test because it doesn't
add -lstdc++ when testing for BerkeleyDB. It should give you
a hint why it didn't find BerkeleyDB. Additionally, you'll
need to have LDFLAGS="-L<BerkeleyDB/lib path>.

I have tried to compile gnome-libs-1.2.7 and this is what I got when
trying to configure:

checking for dbopen in -ldb... no
checking for dbopen in -ldb1... no
configure: error: Your db library is missing db 1.85 compatibility mode

I have just installed db-3.1.7 with --enable-compat185.

Anyone know a way around this problem?

Thanks,
