Better yet, RealPlayer has a setting that allows you to funnel its sound
output through ESD.  Start up RealPlayer, hit CTRL+R, then select the
"Performance" tab.  Under "Audio Drivers" there's a checkbox to make
RealPlayer use ESD.  I don't think this change actually takes place
until you restart RealPlayer.

By the way, it's really cool of RealNetworks to respond to the Linux
community by adding this option.  Maybe they realize that supporting
Linux is the best way to avoid being completely trampled by Windows
Media Player.
