Re: What's up with Helix update?



I discovered the same problem myself. I find mirroring the helix distro
locally and then doing a "rpm --freshen -vh *rpm" works a allot better
than the stupid broken update utility. :P

here is the command I use to mirror helix for Mandrake:
mirrordir -v --no-chown --exclude-glob
"*src.rpm*" ftp://ftp.helixcode.com/distributions/Mandrake-7/
~/helix
