Do you have/know of a good tutorial for latex? I've found a few reference docs, but they don't _teach_ much. They're only good if you already know the principles. :-)

| What features of xdvi do you need? You might find that always
| generating postscript and using ghostview will give you the features you
| need. I use xdvi for speed, but it is definitely not feature rich.

| I don't think you'll ever beat latex here. Increasing your familiarity
| with latex will certainly reduce your frustration. I actually like it.
