I dont think so. I compiled 0.9 myself when the one from gnome-utils 1.2 helixcode 
failed to work. I have since done an rpm -U --force of this RPM to make sure I am running the helixcode version again since neither seem to work.

After sending the first mail I left the terminal alone after running gdict and eventually
(say 3 or 4 minutes) it started up. It gave an error though (didn't have chance to rigt it down as I was busy with something else) and when I clicked on preferences etc nothing happened. Infact I had to run xkill to get rid of the damm thing.
