Some gmc problems

I have some pb with gmc, so if anyone could help ...
I have helix binary bistrib of Gnome on Redhat 6.1 with a french config.

1/ The seach in file doesnt work at all (but works fine in mc), this
didnt work with previous releases.
2/ Gmc destroy all mc configurations in .mc (keys learned, confirmation,
...), is there a way to bypass that ???
3/ When the "labels" of toolbar are activated, the gmc window is larger
than my screen and unresizable ?? This didnt exists with previuos
release.
