screensaver locks and will not let me back in

	Folks -

I'm running helix-gnome 1.2 on suse linux 6.4 (pIII, 128MB RAM, etc.)

When I tell it to lock the screen or set the screensaver with password, xscreensaver (v 3.24) will not let me back in. I have to change consoles and kill the process.

It seem to run with PAM, and this is the entry in my /etc/pam.d/xscreensaver file:

#%PAM-1.0
auth       required	/lib/security/pam_pwdb.so shadow nullok

xlock works fine. Can anyone help me out here?
