Helix Gnome could not find gnomeConf.sh

Hello,

I am trying to install gnomehack-1.0.5, and when I run configure, I get:
    configure: error: Could not find the gnomeConf.sh file that is
    generated by gnome-libs install

I am using Helix Gnome, which I installed a couple of weeks ago.

Using find, I have determined that there is no gnomeConf.sh anywhere on
my machine.

Where do I go from here?
