GNOME/KDE discussion on Slashdot

Whee!

I never read Slashdot, usually, but because so many people talked to
me at LinuxTag about how there was a discussion to merge GNOME and
KDE's object model, I checked it out at slashdot.org

Boy, I've never seen more clueless people rave about technical issues.
Just because there are talks about bridging the gap between KParts and
Bonobo, those people assume that it is a given that KDE and GNOME will
merge!

Reading Slashdot once a year is enough for me, I figure...
