Hi All,
I'm new to gnome, please help me with a problem I'm
facing.
I'm trying to build GNOME for solaris 2.7. I've
downloaded the sources and have built them according
to the instructions on:
http://www.clanger9.demon.co.uk/computer/gnome/.
Every other pieces before ORbit has been built
successfully, except ImageMagick's PerlMagick.
I'm using ORbit 0.5.0. Before building this, I've
built GNU software, graphics libraries. The gnome
libraries that I've built prior to ORbit are:
audiofile-0.1.9
esound-0.2.16
glib-1.2.6
gtk+-1.2.6
imlib-1.9.7
gtk-engines-0.9
The error I'm receiving is:
make[3]: Entering directory `/gnome/src/ORBit-0.5.0/src/orb'
make[3]: *** No rule to make target `../orb/interface_repository.h', needed by
`allocators.lo'. Stop. make[3]: Leaving directory
`/gnome/src/ORBit-0.5.0/src/orb' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/gnome/src/ORBit-0.5.0/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/gnome/src/ORBit-0.5.0'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
Why is interface_repository.h not created ?
PS: Please send any replies directly to me (ssgam@singapore.sun.com), as
I'm not on the alias yet.
Thanks Very Much in advance!
sam
