MAYDAY! Gnome-core 1.0.55 problem



Hello!
Im having problems compiling gnome. Or that is gnome-core-1.0.55.
I downloaded all the libs and stuff that it says at gnome.org
and files that was required to compile some of them (according to
the documentation (for example gnome-libs/README)
But i get some nasty error that ive been trying to solve for
a LONG time now so i thougt SOMEONE MUST KNOW whats wrong!
Please help me!

I am using linux slackware 7.0 kernel 2.2.13
gcc egcs-2.91.66
Intel P3

# then the gnome core fails

#configure shows this:

#when i make i get this:

#i read somewhere that gnome-libs req DocBook, but i couldnt figure out
#how to install it so i skipped it and gnome-libs compiled without
complains

#i compiled XFree86 before i tried started on gnome
#i have NOT compiled the entire Enlightenment package just fnlib-0.5,
#freetype-1.1, esound-0.2.17 and enlightenment-0.16.3
#but that shouldnt matter (?)


#have not yet compiled the following since they req gnome-core
