I don't work for RedHat, but I can just about garuntee that Gnome 1.2 will
NOT be in RedHat 6.2, since I'm sure that they have a feature freeze at this
point. So, no, I don't think that GNOME is following RedHat, but rather the
other way around. The release of RH6 "seemed" to be pushed back, waiting
for GNOME to solidify on 1.0. I don't expect RH7 to come out with GNOME
1.2, but perhaps with 2.0. Hopefully once RH6.2 is out, RH will let a
couple of people screw with RPM and spec files for a while so that they get
gnumeric as an "official" update to the latest version, just to make life
easier (is anybody listening?), unless they've already done that for 6.2.
