It means either:
 a) your installation is broken somehow (binary incompatible 
    libraries, that sort of thing - if you compiled GTK/GNOME
    yourself, this is pretty possible)
 b) gaby has a bug that is triggered on your machine, perhaps 
    it fails to load a pixmap or something
