Hi,
I am running GNOME under Solaris 2.5.1 and gnome-terminal works just fine
for me. I compiled gnome-core-1.1.2 and run it over Enlightenment 0.16.3.
What sort of error messages pop up in your console window when you start
gnome-terminal. This might give you a clue as to what is wrong with it.
You may want to use gdb to look at the core file for a reason why
gnome-terminal is crashing.
