xscreensaver, included in the most recent helix gnome

Hi,

after downloading the most recent helix gnome and locking my screen by using
the main-menu->Lock screen, then I have difficulties to stop the
screensaver by entering the password: the problem is that my keyboard
is a german one, and my password contains chars which only can reached
by the alt-gr key. My impression: xscreensaver reads such chars
in a wrong manner.
