hi folks,

as the gnokii-project is getting mature, it shouldn't be a big effort to
include support for the calender and phonebook-entries of the nokia
6110 and
7110 in the PIMs of KDE and GNOME. there's already xgnokii which
is able to
edit everything ( http://www.gnokii.org/screenshots.shtml ), but would
be
better to have direct support like it's possible with outlook under
windows

I have been wondering about this, but didn't have the time nor the
urgency to check this out: Is the 9110 (aka the Communicator)
supported already? I see you mentioning the 7110 which at least is
a newer model, but support for the Communicator would be great. I
am using one right now, and would love to link it to gnome-pim. If
the project is still in (pre)beta I would love to help (can't code yet,
but think I know enough to help testing).
