Either place the tarball in ~/.sawfish/themes and rename it OR untar the
theme in the same directory. The problem is that for Sawfish to do its
magic theme extraction it expects the tarball to contain a directory
with the same name as the tarball, and unfortunately some unavoidable
name mangling at themes.org adds a non-optional version number to
tarballs.
Substitute /usr/share/sawfish/$VERSION/themes/ for ~/.sawfish/themes if
you have root and want the theme installed for all.
