cdburning not working

well i had cdburning working with redhat 6.0/2.2.5-15kernel but now i upgraced
to 6.2/2.2.14-12.......not sure thats it or not..........or some kernel
setting i messed with ( by using    cdwriting HOW-TO ) causing glitch....

all iknow is cdrecord -scanbus is ONLY showing my cdrom.....it was showing the
C DRW ......can't get both..

anyway i had BOTH being recognized with 6.0 setup.......hmm
