No more panel-applets with gnome-core-1.0.41

Just wondering if anybody else has the same problem.
With gnome-core-1.0.41 my panel applets don't start
anymore

e.g.

exec gnomepager_applet

type = 0 exid = (null)

(gnome_panel_applet_corba_init): assertion `panel_client != ((void *)0)'
failed.

** CRITICAL **: file applet-widget.c: line 708 (applet_widget_new):

Aborted


I got the newest ORBit-0.4.95 on a SuSE 6.2.

Any suggestions?
