gdm

I'm running SuSE 6.2 .. and I want to use gdm .. but I'm not quite sure
how .. can some help me possiably? I installed a theme for it .. and I
tried to set rc.config to use gdm .. but then it just enters a runlevel
of 2 .. not 3 .. and gdm won't start .. so can someone maybe help me?
