Desk Guide going into release incomplete as it is?

For a while now, the Desk Guide applet has that little arrow button
that does precisely nothing. Yes, it beeps and says "Task editor not
yet implemented", but that's not much more than nothing, and that
warning only goes to stderr so it leaves the user pretty confused.

Will that task editor get implemented, will the arrow be removed or
will the Desk Guide go into the release with a non-working button?
